We were born for times like these.
We have heard this over and over, and it’s even more true now. We all get the opportunity to see what our role is as part of humanity. And our role in our small little world as well. The two go hand in hand.
June is traditionally a month of love, communication, compassion, receiving, giving, purpose, family, friends, divine balance, responsibility, teaching, boundaries, mentoring, giving advice, magnetism. In the challenge aspect people can get preachy, burdened, martyrs, out of balance, know it alls, giving advice when not asked, judgmental.
We are seeing it all. The light and the shadow. Being asked to find the delicate balance between the two. We see our purpose come to life in new ways. Those random acts of kindness, the advice given when asked, the projects being completed, the compassion being expressed, the reinvention happening, the leadership taking form, the art being created, the words written and expressed. Events happen and give us opportunities to be the best version of ourselves while making a difference.
Living 20 minutes outside Minneapolis where George Floyd was killed shook me to my core, as well as the world. The aftermath did as well. As I juggled so many feelings from extreme fear to sadness to an intense desire to make a difference, I asked my dreams the same question. What is my role at this time? I knew I had to get out of my head of what I thought I “should” do. For many nights it was the same answer. Stay calm. Night after night I saw myself putting comforters on people at night. Some almost didn’t fit, yet I was able to make them fit and cover many people. That was my role at that time. To bring peace and calm to the night. I saw many people I know, and others I will never meet. Yet, I know I made the difference I was called to make.
My role changes daily, and I know because of the dreams. Yet my purpose stays the same. Inspire and awaken people to the true power they have within to live their best lives and make a difference in this amazing world we have been given. To show people how to work with energy in a way that is constructive and life changing.
As we approach the Solstice we are being asked to EXPAND into something we can’t completely see, yet know is on the horizon. It can be called expanding our comfort zone or walking blindly in faith. It can be scary, and yet it is liberating when we listen within and are guided by our heart. This expansion is led by our joyful dreams or our fears.
We choose every…single…day…which one we continue to envision while living in the moment.
We create our reality while charting new territory both individually and collectively. Traditional roadmaps no longer work. Innovative solutions do.
Many of you are called to lead in new ways, or continue leadership roles with an innovative and creative twist. The root word of leader is “pathfinder”, the person who knows a new way of being and leads others there. It may be with hundreds of people or a smaller family unit.
Leading, however, will be in that place outside of the day to day comfort zone which has been created over the years. It’s where our destiny and purpose exist.
Over the past week, you may have noticed old constructs and ideas are being stripped from your day to day reality. Old rules you followed no longer resonate. Old stories you tell yourself and others no longer feel true. They feel shallow as you begin to speak them.
In a year of foundations, stability and security, we have seen so much smashed. Yet there is a basis for it all. A foundation. Love, Purpose and the Collective.
As we continue to follow our heart’s desire and re-invent our inner world, we see it manifest in ordinary reality. The nightmares and confusion we had no longer show up to make change and have us step up into our purpose and lead.
We have the opportunity now to express our gifts in new and innovative ways. When we do, we shall see that history no longer has to repeat itself. Because we are the timeshifters of what reality we choose.
There also is a lot of spiritual bypassing happening as well. In this spiritual world of reality creation, we also see what is here now. What has been manifested over years and years of unchecked energy. It needs to be acknowledged, shifted, and changed. That requires action, compassionate communication, understanding of opposites, and an unwavering belief in the good of humanity. We can no longer ignore what has risen to the surface. It’s time for healing, new beginnings and change. First in our world, and then in the collective.
I’m grateful for all of you who are amazing examples of what is good in this world. I encourage you to take this time to listen deeply and let your purpose catch you. Boldly express it in the way only you can. You will be forever changed. And in turn, so will the world. It starts with you.
