I have had a couple of conversations with potential clients and the theme that I hear is that they passionately want to help people and get their vision and mission out there but they are lacking money, or support in some way.

Here are some of the common mistakes that I have been hearing lately. When you do any of these, you literally are giving away your money needlessly. Read below for the actions and then the mirror for you (if it fits your situation).

1. You find a great networking group or healing center to work from and end up coaching the owners and or/members. You hope that if you do this, then more people will come in to the clinic or groups, and therefore you will get more clients.

Mirror: If you are helping someone else and not getting paid for it, then you are in the same situation. The person who is having a challenge getting clients into the clinic or people into their groups, is mirroring the same challenge to you.

2. I’m so tired of doing it alone.

Mirror: When you are doing it alone, and not getting the help or coaching you need, you are telling all your prospective clients the same. People want to work with others who are where they want to be.

3. I want to have a business partner.

Mirror: You first have to know how to be your own business partner. Do you know how to effectively run your business? Have you been trained in this? Are you comfortable with the marketing and sales for yourself? Most often the need for a business partner is masking the need to be seen by yourself first.

4. I want to collaborate with someone else and then I will make more money.

Mirror: If you are broke, you will attract people who are broke. When you see yourself and claim who you are, you are able to attract others into your life. Your ideal clients who pay you, and the people you will collaborate with from a place of equality.

Here’s the biggest MISTAKE that I see with all of this:

5. Wow! I read Monica’s newsletter and now I know my problem or issue, and will fix this to earn money.

Mirror: You are still doing it alone. You still don’t know the effective business principles that can help you. You still don’t have money. You still are turning your wheels. Awareness is the first key to making a change, but taking the proper set of actions and implementing them is what brings true transformation into your business.
